Role: Backup and Storage Admin:
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the Windows/ Unix Servers availability and operation of system component via automated monitoring systems – Sitescope, NNMi
- Monitoring Log files on Servers and if any abnormalities observed responsible for the initial triage of Incidents/Change.
- Analyzing/troubleshooting/documenting the issues logged in the ticket tool - Service now, ISM
- Follow up of Escaltion matrix during MIM bridge.
- Raising the Incidents based on the Business impact, executing the Incident Management process based on the Incident severity level and follow-up with the respective teams until issue gets resolved
- Creating and Exporting CAG files in Citrix Netscaler
- Raising the Change Requests and service Requests and works on it.
- Configured Alerts/Monitors in Sitescope tool.
- Follow-Up for CQ Defects with the resolver group and to create RFR task on timely manner.
- Coordinating with Client and change team for Change approval process.
- Logging and dispatching or transferring Problems/Incidents to other support groups as required.
- Coordinating with the respective team for updating the closure portion of the Change/Incident record With resolution activities and to ensure SLAs are met.
- Coordinating with resolver Group for Root Cause analysis of Incidents.
- Sending reports of Network/Netscaler services hits and server availability by Daily/ Weekly and Monthly Report on regular basis.
- Analyzed and reviewed alerts and generated reports based on security audit logs of system components on a daily basis
- To maintain and update Vendor Contracts, Incident/Change Trackers and Process documents as required.
