About the Conference ICEPBM 2025

ICEPBM 2025 is the First International Conference hosted by Department of Management Studies, Saveetha Engineering College, India on 22nd and 23rd May 2025 and will be a hybrid event. This conference is on the comprehensive theme “Reimagining the New Economy: Work, Energy, Industry innovation, Infrastructure, Responsible Consumption, Production and a Sustainable Future” (SDG-7,8,9 &12) and emphasises creative tactics that support companies in thriving in a quickly changing technological upgraded while placing a high priority on sustainability. This conference fosters the critical pillars of a modern economy. This signifies a focus on fair labour practices, decent work conditions, and the evolving nature of employment in a changing economic landscape. This emphasizes the urgent need for transitioning to clean, renewable energy sources to power the economy while mitigating climate change. This points towards the crucial role of technological advancements and innovative solutions in driving economic growth and efficiency. This underscores the importance of robust and sustainable infrastructure (transportation, communication, energy grids) to support economic development and social well-being. This highlights the need for a shift towards more sustainable consumption and production patterns. This includes minimizing waste, maximizing resource efficiency, and promoting circular economy principles. This overarching goal emphasizes the need for economic systems that are not only prosperous but also environmentally and socially responsible, ensuring a healthy planet and a just society for present and future generations.

About the Institution

Saveetha Engineering College is a co-educational Institution. The College is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, the largest technical university in India. Saveetha Engineering College is granted Autonomous status by University Grants Commission (UGC)., Affiliated to Anna University located in Chennai, India. It was founded in 2001 by the Saveetha Medical and Educational Trust, a registered charitable society. Approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), a statutory body of the Government of India, and also by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

About the department

The Department of Management Studies, started in the year 2006-2007, serves as a gateway to the high-profile world of management. The department trains enterprising young men and women to be Champions, Mindful leaders, Entrepreneurial managers and Entrepreneurs. The department is housed in the sixth floor with facilities that include Auditorium type class rooms, seminar halls, State of the art computer lab with Wi-Fi Internet facility. The classrooms are well equipped with Smart boards, LCD projectors, and microphones. The Department boasts of Modern library, has rich stock of books and journals along with online access to vast digital resources. From the department inception totally 17 batches graduated. The department is strengthened by highly qualified, dedicated and experienced academicians who will take the students through some of the most rigorous and stimulating Management programs that one could aspire for.

Guidelines for papers Submission & Presentation

The submitted research paper should be an original and unpublished work. The papers below 15% similarity (excluding references) will be considered for further process for journal publication. The original submissions can be made in English as Conceptual papers, Extended Abstracts, Empirical Research papers, Case studies, Work-in-progress and Doctoral colloquium papers.

  • Recommended length of the abstract should be between 200 – 300 words.Both the abstract and keywords are mandatory. Proper citation should be given in the manuscript for Images/Figures and Tables reproduced from other sources. APA 7th Edition citation format to be strictly adhered to.
  • Recommended length of the research paper should be between 3000 – 6000 words.
  • Tables, illustrations, charts, figures etc. should be clearly numbered and duly acknowledged.
  • All submitted articles will be double blind peer reviewed. Acceptance of articles is subject to recommendation by the review panel and subsequent acceptance by the Editor.
  • Sources of the data need to be given below each table.
  • One of the registered manuscript authors need to do the presentation (Virtual or in person).Only registered author will receive the certificate.
  • Maximum number of authors per manuscript is restricted to three. Only registered author will receive the certificate.
  • Presentation will be conducted in Hybrid manner. Each session will be held in Offline mode and continued by online presentation.

ABSTRACT: The abstract should not exceed 300 words and must be accompanied by a cover page stating the following: Title of the Paper, Sub-theme of the paper, Name and Designation of the author (s), E-mail address, Postal address, and Contact Number
