About the Department
Saveetha Teaching Learning Centre, is a pioneer initiative of Saveetha Engineering College to promote excellence in teaching and learning among academicians and avid learners. The Saveetha Teaching Learning Centre received the Outstanding Teaching Centre Award for its exceptional efforts in adopting teaching-learning methodologies and organizing programs to equip faculty members with necessary skills for excellence in teaching practices. Saveetha Teaching Learning Centre (STLC), consistently continues its successful innings with Indo-Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE). Through this collaboration, faculty members were encouraged to participate in the International Engineering Educators Certification Program (IIEECP).

OVERVIEW
Right from the initial days, the management of Saveetha Engineering College stood by the idea of preparing Industry 4.0 ready professionals by imparting 21st Century Skills. To attain this industry ready curriculum, our Institution employed several learner-friendly teaching methods. Several learning activities were conducted to enable the learners practice and implemented the learned concepts in the classroom itself. The collaboration with IUCEE in the year of 2018, streamlined the process of teaching learning and it led to several accolades for Saveetha Engineering College in the domain of academics. The certification programmes on International Engineering Educator Certification Program (IEECP) offered by IUCEE were actively taken up by our faculty members who were duly motivated by the management to get trained for the bright future of the learner community. The teaching methods were gradually and steadily paced based on these inputs and a clear strategy for teaching-learning evolved. The emergence of Saveetha Teaching Learning Centre (STLC) further facilitated the process of imparting the current trends in teaching among the facilitators. Saveetha Teaching Learning Centre, the torchbearer of flexi-learn model is a pioneer initiative of Saveetha Engineering College to promote excellence in teaching and learning among academicians and avid learners.
MISSION
To provide holistic approach in graduating teacher centric educators to learner centric educators to build a brand of students who’ll enjoy learning and establish themselves to constructively contribute in the field of Engineering.

EVENTS ORGANIZED BY STLC UNDER IUCEE BANNER
Our institution is a consortium member of Indo Universal Collaboration of Engineering Education. (IUCEE) since 2018.
The emergence of Saveetha Teaching Learning Centre is due to its consistent collaboration of Saveetha Engineering College with IUCEE for enabling awareness and training on novel tools among facilitators for teaching-learning. The three-phased IUCEE certifications paved way for continuous evolution and improvement in teaching methods and implementation.
