The Department of Civil Engineering in collaboration with the Institution of Engineers hosted a one-day seminar focused on ‘Geospatial Technology for Mapping Clean Water Zones in India’ on 31.08.2024. Er. P. Dhivya, Assistant Professor, Department of Agricultural Engineering, SRM Valliammai Engineering College, Chennai was the resource person for the seminar. The seminar explored the advancements and applications of geospatial technology in identifying and mapping areas with access to clean water, a critical resource for sustainable development.
