A seminar on ‘Partial Green Roofs: A step towards sustainable urban development’
was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering on 11.10.2025. The resource person
for the seminar was Er.S.Moses Aranganathan, Registered panel Engineer, Tamilnadu PWD
civil Engineer, Thiruvallur, Kancheepuram District. The guest highlighted the transformative
potential of Partial Green Roofs in sustainable urban development. They explained how
integrating green roofs in urban infrastructure can mitigate environmental impacts, enhance
energy efficiency, and improve urban microclimates.
