A seminar on ‘Custom DGPS Base Station Simulation’ was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering in association with Institution of Engineers India (IEI) on 01.03.2025. The resource person for the event was Er. S. Sangili Uddayappan, COE and Chief Surveyor at GSSR Construction Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. This seminar was aimed to provide students and professionals with insights into the latest advancements in Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) and its applications in base station simulations. His extensive experience in surveying, positioning technologies, and DGPS applications provided the attendees with valuable knowledge and practical applications of DGPS in civil engineering and geospatial sciences.
