On 27.06.2024, a group of II, III and IV year learners from our department visited Saveetha Mall construction site at Poonamalle. The site visit provided valuable insights into the early stages of foundation construction, particularly the installation of the diaphragm wall. The meticulous approach to benchmarking, initial surveys, and site management ensures that the project is progressing according to plan and maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy. Learners learnt about the real world challenges of Engineers and Contractors on-site. They witnessed the real-time process of D-wall construction.
On 29.08.2024, a group of II, III and IV year learners from our department visited Saveetha Mall construction site at Poonamalle. The site visit to Saveetha Mall, Poonamallee, provided valuable insights into the site conditions, surveying, Diaphragm wall construction process, Reuse of bentonite slurry and bentonite tests. Learners gained immense knowledge on the real-time process and constraints involved in the site.
