The guest lecture titled “Insights into Construction Project Management” was conducted on 23.05.2026 by the Department of Civil Engineering in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). Ms. Rekha Zachariah, Senior Project Leader, Cushman & Wakefield (Project Management Firm), Chennai, served as the resource person for the session. The lecture provided valuable insights into the principles and practices of construction project management, including project planning, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and quality assurance. Participants gained a deeper understanding of real-time challenges in the construction industry, modern project execution strategies, and the practical aspects of managing large-scale construction projects effectively.
