The Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organised a workshop on “Roadmap to Become a Forward Deployed Engineer” on 29 August 2026. The resource person was Vel Murugan S, VP at Slidea, Deckzi Solutions Pvt Ltd. The workshop explained the role of a Forward Deployed Engineer, who works directly with customers to turn technology into working solutions. It outlined the technical foundations, projects and tools to learn, how to understand customer needs and how to present solutions with confidence, giving students a clear roadmap for this career path.
