TEACHERS’ DAY – COMPETITIONS – 05.09.2022
To commemorate the 60th birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and recognize the relentless service of TEACHERS, the Department of English conducted Elocution, Essay and Poetry Writing competitions on “An Ideal Teacher” on 5.9.22 – Teachers’ Day for the B.E and B.Tech learners of Saveetha Engineering College. These competitions were conducted to motivate and hone the communicative skills of the learners. Learners from various departments actively participated and TWO PRIZES were announced for each competition. There were 34 learners who participated in Essay Writing, 8 participants in Elocution and 7 participants in Poetry Writing respectively.

International National Conference on Advances in Chemistry and Materials (ICCM-2021) organized by Department of Chemistry, Saveetha Engineering College on July 21st and 22nd 2021.The conference acted as a platform to present excellent results and new challenges focusing the field of Chemistry and Materials. The partners of this conference are Department of Chemistry, Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research, Selaiyur, Chennai-600073, India and Department of Chemistry,Thiruvalluvar University, Serkkadu, Vellore -632115, India and International Journal of Photoenergy.
Celebration of 134th Birthday of Srinivasa Ramanujan on 22nd December, 2021
An offline event was conducted to celebrate the 134th Birthday of the Indian Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan on 22nd December, 2021. Scheduled from 9:00 AM – 02:00 PM, there were three parts of this event- “Mathemadness”, “Quiz on Quants” and a drawing competition. The mathematics department of Saveetha Engineering College (Autonomous) organized this event. This event was conducted offline in the rectangular block of Saveetha Engineering College. Mathemadness was conducted in RB FF Physics Lab 1(9:00 AM -10:00 AM), Quiz on Quants was conducted in RB FF LH3(10:00 AM – 11:00AM), and the drawing competition was conducted in RB FF drawing hall(1:00PM-2:00PM).
